Leeds

Our Leeds branch is currently open 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), but will be open 5 days a week as from the end of February 2009.  Our programme is still evolving as we provide activities based around the interests and needs of our members.

Activities include:

  • creative arts
  • social skill
  • cookery
  • independent living skills
  • out and about in the community
  • life skills.

Opening times

We open at 9.30am to allow staff and members the opportunity to have a drink and a chat before workshops begin at 10am.  We have an hour for lunch at 12pm until 1pm, again this lunchtime period is supported by our staff team.  The workshops then begin at 1pm until 3pm.

Referrals

We will take referrals from social services, mental health services, GPs, education services and even self referrals.  We offer support to those individuals who do not currently receive any support from either social services or the mental health team, to pursue a Community Care Assessment (an assessment of your individual needs) in order to obtain funding for services such as Sacar.
