TRAINING

We have worked actively to increase awareness of ASCs and following the success of our training workshops on Autism and Asperger syndrome, we have now developed a full training programme which we have begun delivering to those working with this client group. We are also working with Education Bradford to train teachers and support workers in Autistic Spectrum Conditions within the Bradford District schools.

Sacar also holds a large national conference each year attracting delegates from across the country. Again the aim is to increase awareness and understanding of ASCs amongst parents, carers, learning and care support workers, potential employers, teachers and healthcare professionals. We will be organising our next conference sometime next year.
